Final stop in the softphone lineup: the sleek and professional Bria — available for both mobile and desktop.

“Bria is the suit-and-tie version of softphones — but don’t worry, we won’t make you wear one.”

Whether you’re using Bria Solo, Bria Teams, or the classic app — Bitcall works smoothly with all of them.

🎯 What You Need

  • ✅ SIP credentials (or IP authentication)

  • ✅ Bria downloaded on your device

+33123456789

  1. Hit Call

If it rings — 🎉 success!

🛠️ Troubleshooting Table

Problem

Fix

“Account not registered”

Double-check SIP username, password, and proxy domain

One-way audio

Enable STUN server or switch transport to TCP

SIP works but calls fail

Try using the IP 188.34.143.144 instead of domain

IP-auth calls don’t work

Disable REGISTER & confirm your IP is whitelisted in Bitcall

Echo or distortion

Try G.722 or PCMU codec and disable video

🧠 TL;DR Recap

✅ Download Bria
✅ Create a Generic SIP Account
✅ Use gateway.bitcall.io as domain
✅ Transport = UDP (or TCP/TLS)
✅ Register = Green ✅ → Start calling
✅ IP-auth: no password, no register!

💡 Bonus Tip: Codec Tweaks for Call Quality

Want HD audio? Go to:

Settings → Audio Codecs → Enable G.722, PCMU (G.711u)

Disable low-quality codecs (like GSM) for a clearer experience.
