“Turn your phone (or laptop) into a fully-featured SIP phone… and yes, it’s cooler than it sounds.”

Let’s get you calling with Bitcall and Zoiper — one of the most popular softphone apps on the planet.

🔸 Before You Begin

Make sure you’ve got:

  • ✅ A SIP account already created inside your panel

  • ✅ Your SIP credentials (username, password, domain)

  • ✅ Internet (WiFi/4G/5G — no telepathy required… yet)

⚠️ If you’re using IP Authentication, skip the password part and make sure your IP is whitelisted in Bitcall.

📱 Section 1: Zoiper on

Android

  1. Download Zoiper from the Play Store

  2. Open the app → Tap “Create an account” or “Add account”

  3. Enter your SIP credentials:

Username: your-bitcall-username Password: your-SIP-password Domain: gateway.bitcall.io

  1. Tap Next, then select SIP UDP

(Or SIP TCP/TLS if you want encrypted calls)

  2. Zoiper will test the connection. If all goes well, you’ll see a green check.

  3. Done! You should see a “Registered” status at the top.

📱 Section 2: Zoiper on

iOS (iPhone)

  1. Download from the App Store

  2. Launch the app → Tap “Settings” → “Accounts” → “+”

    Then select SIP Account

  3. Fill in your SIP info:

Account Name: Bitcall User: your-bitcall-username Password: your-SIP-password Domain: gateway.bitcall.io

  1. Go to Advanced and make sure:

    • Transport: UDP (default), or TCP/TLS if preferred

    • Auth Username: same as SIP username

  2. Tap Save, then go back. You should see Registered status.

🔄 Troubleshooting Tips

Issue

Fix

“Registration failed”

Double-check username, password, and domain

Can’t hear audio

Check device mic/speaker permissions and codecs

Still failing on mobile

Try switching transport (UDP → TCP) or use SIP IP: 188.34.143.144

Using IP Auth

Leave password blank, make sure your IP is added in Bitcall

Behind firewall/NAT?

Try enabling STUN in Zoiper settings

🧠 TL;DR Recap

✅ Use gateway.bitcall.io as your SIP domain
✅ Register with your SIP username + password (or use IP Auth)
✅ Choose UDP, TCP, or TLS transport
✅ Use Zoiper on iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS
✅ Registration = Success = Time to call!

💡 Bonus: You Can Set Multiple SIP Accounts!

Want one for personal calls and another for business? Go for it.

Bitcall supports multiple SIP accounts per user. Each one can be named and tracked individually.
